This year, Collierville High School is proudly introducing a new School Board and an Outreach Board. Our core mission is to significantly expand our reach and positive impact throughout the community

The school board: Promoting heart health in our schools

Our School Board plays a critical role in spreading heart health awareness and support into the fabric of our educational community. They ensure our clubs aligns seamlessly with the needs of the students and schools, fostering an environment where young hearts can thrive.

• School Board empowers students and schools to take an active role in supporting the Hands 2 Hearts mission, including inspiring initiatives like Go Jim Go Efforts, bake sales/drives, and engaging fundraising events.
• They also work to promote educational initiatives focused on heart health awareness. Our blog provides valuable resources for students, families, and educators.
• They collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parent organizations to create lasting relationships and establish trust within the school.

The outreach board: Building bridges in our community

Our Outreach Board is working towards expanding Hands 2 Hearts’ reach and fostering vital community partnerships and relations. They are connecting individuals, organizations, and businesses who share our vision, empowering us to create a stronger and healthier community and increase our impact.

• The Outreach Board builds bridges to the broader community, ensuring our message and initiatives reach diverse audiences and inspires action.
• They actively seek and foster partnerships with like-minded organizations, local businesses, and community leaders, increasing our impact and strengthening our efforts.
• Through their dedication, the Outreach Board plays a key role in raising awareness for children’s heart health, attracting volunteers, and securing the resources needed to support our mission of raising funds for the 2025-2026 management period. All proceeds are either recycled back into fundraising efforts or sent directly to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Together, our School Board and Outreach Board embody the spirit of Hands 2 Hearts. Their collaborative efforts and commitment are what allow us to make a lasting and meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing heart ailments. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and the vital support of our entire community.
