Gautham Nair

Chief Executive Officer

Gautham Nair, a Memphis native, is the founder and CEO of Hands to Hearts, a nonprofit that raises money for children battling heart disease. He graduated from Collierville High School in 2020; he was President of the Freshman Mentor Program and a member of both the National Honor Society and Key Club. Outside of school, he competed in men’s league soccer. Gautham is also a second-degree black belt and an Eagle Scout. In his free time, he enjoys yoga, park walks, the gym, and volunteering at Church Health and the Baptist Hospice House. At Rhodes College, Gautham majored in Neuroscience and minored in Religious Studies. Gautham aspires to attend medical school and advance public health education after graduation.

Minahil Qadeem

President

Minahil Qadeem is a senior at Collierville High School and will graduate in 2026. She aspires to study molecular biology on a pre-med track for her undergraduate degree, eventually becoming a pediatric endocrinologist. Minahil is a member of the CHS Freshmen Mentor Program and was selected to be on the Executive Board. She is involved in various other organizations in school such as HOSA, Beta Club, Science National Honors Society, and more. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, volunteering and shadowing at hospitals and clinics, and running around Collierville. Having been a patient at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital along with being involved in Hands to Hearts since her freshmen year, Minahil is excited to lead Hands2Hearts and make an impact to support patients with Congenital Heart Defects in the Memphis Area.

Audrey Couture

Vice President

Audrey is a senior at Collierville High School and will graduate in 2026. At school, she is involved in National Beta Club, Best Buddies, ACT 30+ Club, Science National Honor Society, and Cum Laude Society, as well as playing on the CHS Tennis team. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, listening to music, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. After high school, she plans to pursue a degree in biochemistry with the goal of practicing medicine, specifically anesthesiology. She is excited to be part of the first Outreach Program Board and looks forward to seeing the impact Hands to Hearts can have on the Mid-South for children with congenital heart disease.

Keira Crasta

Chief Operating Officer

Keira is a senior at Collierville High School and will graduate in 2026. In school, she is part of numerous clubs and societies like HOSA, Mu Alpha Theta, NHS, Science Olympiad, Prom Committee, etc. She is extremely interested in health equity and is part of organizations like Brain to Heart Memphis, Incarnation Catholic Church, Memphis Medical Mission, and the LeBonheur AYA Council. She is also very passionate about research, and works in 2 labs at the University of Memphis and St. Jude. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends. She loves volunteering and serving her community, and is excited to make an impactful change with Hands2hearts about heart health awareness.

Jeshwant Vana

Chief Marketing Officer

Jeshwant (Jesh) Vana is a senior at Collierville High School set to graduate in 2026. He is a part of many organizations in CHS, including FBLA, Knowledge Bowl, TSA, AAPI, and many more! He serves outside of school too, serving as TN FBLA State Vice-President and holding leadership in communities such as Telugu Association of Memphis (TAM) and his own leadership podcast, Voice4You. To pass time, Jesh enjoys a variety of things. He is passionate for everything arts – from filmmaking to music to graphic design – and has won awards and performed in front of crowds for his work. He is an avid sports fan, repping his Tennessee teams whenever he can. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the park, and so much more. In the future, Jesh plans on using his work with Hands2Hearts to major in Public Health and is excited to serve as Hands2Heart Chief Marketing Officer and support those impacted by Congenital Heart Defects in the Memphis area!

Aashrita Alavala

Chief Financial Officer

Aashrita Alavala is a senior at Collierville High School. She is actively involved in a variety of clubs and organizations, including the Prom Committee, DECA, the Telugu Association of Memphis, Beta Club, and multiple honor societies. Aashrita has a deep interest in finance, banking, and law, and looks forward to pursuing a career in one of these fields. In her free time, Aashrita enjoys reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, reviewing movies and hanging out with friends. Aashrita is excited to be part of Hands to Heart and hopes to make a meaningful contribution to the organization and her community.

Soha Dharani

Webmaster

Soha is a senior at Collierville High School and plans to pursue the pre-dental track in college. At CHS she is involved in many clubs and organizations such as the Freshman Mentor Club, Science National Honor Society, HOSA, National Technical Honor Society, Psi Alpha (psychology national honor society), and many more. Outside of school she volunteers at her prayer center as a teacher for the Early Childhood Development Center, shadowing and volunteering at many hospitals and clinics, and she serves as the health and wellness director on the youth team for the Indian Association of Memphis. In her free time she enjoys playing pickle ball, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. Soha is so excited to be a part of an amazing team and is looking forward to an exciting year on the Hands to Hearts outreach board.

Shriya Mandalapu

Secretary

Shriya is a current sophomore at Collierville High School, Class of 2028. At CHS, she is actively involved in FBLA, Forensics and Debate, and HOSA where she combines her passion for leadership, advocacy, and service. Outside of school, Shriya teaches taekwondo at Collierville Taekwondo, where she is a second-degree black belt and dedicated instructor. As secretary of Hands 2 Hearts, Shriya is excited to help organize meaningful volunteer initiatives, and raise funding and awareness for congenital heart disease.

Shirin Sethi

Secretary

Shirin is a senior who will be graduating from Collierville High School in 2026. At CHS, Shirin is involved with various clubs such as Freshmen Mentor Program, Prom Committee, National Honors Society, the Cum Laude Society, National Beta Club, CyberPatriot, and South Asian Student Alliance. With a growing passion for service, she is also committed to positively impacting her community through her roles in organizations such as the Bridge Builders Leadership Council, FMP Engagement Committee, Contemporary Arts Memphis, National Art Honors Society, Dixon Gallery’s Teen Council, and the Indian Association of Memphis. In her free time, Shirin enjoys drawing, painting, watching movies, and spending time with friends. She is looking forward to promoting heart health awareness and making an impactful change in the Congenital Heart Disease Community through the key mission of Hands to Hearts!

Samhita Jani

Program Coordinator

Samhita is a Junior at Collierville High School and will graduate in 2027. She is the Vice President of the Memphis chapter of the non profit Brain2heart and the Chief Operating Officer of the club Memphis Medical Mission. She is also involved in other clubs and organizations such as HOSA, National Honors Society, National Beta Club, SMOA, Indian Association of Memphis, and St. Jude Leadership Society. In her free time, Samhita enjoys playing piano, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with her friends. After high school, she plans to major in biochemistry on the pre-med track. She loves volunteering at hospitals and shadowing under doctors to find her passion. Samhita is incredibly excited to work alongside the board to help make an impact toward supporting those impacted by Congenital Heart Defects.

Zaisha Ali

Social Media Coordinator

Zaisha Ali is a junior at Collierville High School and will graduate in 2027. At CHS, she is involved in various clubs and organizations such as being co-founder of National Psychology Honor Society, treasurer for American Cancer Society, social media for Change Makers, and Asian American and Pacific Islanders Club. After high school, she aspires to go into dentistry and specialize in orthodontics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, creating art, clinical shadowing under dentists, and serving her community through volunteering. Being a member of Hands to Hearts since her freshman year, she is excited to be making a difference and taking on the role as Social Media Coordinator.
